I was good at physics and I enjoy the people I work with. I love the practical work and I like knowing I’m finding something new. I also really enjoy travelling and I get to do a lot of that.

So I can take over the world! Joking, joking. I’m a scientist because (other than 8th grade science) I always loved learning science, and just became more and more fascinated with how much there is to explore as a scientist! It’s probably originally my parents’ fault, who taught me never to stop being curious. (They’re a microbiologist and psychologist…)

Because I wanted to become one and: here I am. I just like it – interesting and exciting work, every day different and at least I can hope to have a little impact on our world.

I think that I am a scientist/engineer because I love it, and that I was lucky enough to be encouraged wen I was younger to study it. I ultimately love problem solving, so there are other things I could have done but, with a passion for Space I think this suits me very well.
