• Question: If life has evolved would this not falsify the 2nd law of thermodynamics, on wikipedia it says: The second law of thermodynamics is an expression of the universal principle of decay observable in nature. Living things are in nature, why do they not follow this rule?

I see your dilemma! It is trying to essentially explain that everything gets more chaotic. this is essentially saying that in a system, unless energy (work) is applied, you can’t do something that is more ordered. It also explains going bac it time – you can’t undo something that is done as you could not undo the chaotic nature of it. It’s a bit weird!
