GREAT!! I’m currently sitting on a balcony overlooking the Florida intercoastal, watching dolphins with my partner Dave, and answering questions for “I’m a Scientist” 😉 Life is good!!!

      Okay.
I am a bit disappointed at the moment because one of the machines I am using for the analysis of plasma samples does not seem to work properly and we keep running tests but cannot really figure out what’s wrong. But apart from that it was fine. I had a long meeting (2 hours) with some statisticians this morning to discuss some data analysis. Then I checked the machine (but it still did not look good) and also another one, which looked okay. After that I picked up a bike I borrowed for my boyfriend who is coming to visit tomorrow, then lunch, lab work and I had a good time answering quite a few of your questions in the afternoon. And I had a coffee break …
So apart from the machine that’s not working it was a pretty good and not too stressful day.
I’ll head off to go climbing in a few minutes as well and that’s a good end anyway! 🙂

Tiring – It’s 6.30pm and I’m still at work! We’re preparing for a conference, 4 big experiments and I have to give two talks in the next 2 weeks. It’s not always this busy!

My day was fine thank you for asking. 🙂 How was yours? I spent the afternoon in the glasshouse and it was really, really hot!

Very busy so far! Sorry for not answering all your questions straight away 🙁
It’s getting a little quieter at work though now as people are going home early. I need to finish a power analysis before I can go!
