Well, since primary school I guess. I’ve had short (3 months or so) breaks now and then working away from science but it’s been pretty continuous. Many people I know have left and come back though and have no problems.

Wow…. a long time! Probably longer than you’ve existed 😉 My parents always encouraged my scientific curiosity, even when I was really little! Then of course I had science classes all through elementary, middle and high school (I guess primary and secondary school for you guys?). I majored in biology in uni, and now I still study science. That doesn’t mean everyone has to do that. Some people take up science in graduate school!

If you don’t count school (because there I did not really have a choice) it’s been almost 7 years now.
Wow, that sounds scary actually! I hadn’t really thought about it before. I must really enjoy it then! 😉

Well, I guess everyone is always learning about science? I went straight from school to 4 years at uni – and have now been working for nearly 4 years. So you could say 8(ish)? Gosh – that’s scary – to t hink I left school 8 years ago!!!
