Humans only last a few days max without water (depending on the environment). Humans can go weeks without food

Without water: I guess only a few days (4 or 5 maybe)
Without food: Maybe 1 or 2 months (as long as he is getting enough water).

Well, pretty long without food, but not that long with no water. I don’t know what the exact answer is, but I do have a few interesting facts! In 1942, Poon Lim survived 133 days on a liferaft with no food and very little water, which is astonishing! That’s nearly 5 months!
The problem of food and water in Space is a big one; on the international space station they have a special machine that filters all the astronauts urine (wee) and they then drink it once it has been through the machine! Lovely! (Although, it probably tastes fine; it’s just the thought isn’t it!)
