All sorts of ways! My parents got me interested in it, some great science teachers nurtured those sparks….even our science museum made me want to get involved in science!

I was good at school and my teachers convinced me to take it on. I then went to Uni and did a placement. I enjoyed the placement so wanted to continue in science. I didn’t know I wanted to do science as my job until 2 years ago!

I liked it at school (and took part in some practical science projects that were on offer), chose to study biochemistry at uni and got stuck because it’s the right thing for me!
