I don’t think that there is an afterlife in the general sense that we are taught to think of an afterlife. I do think that the energy that makes us what we are just changes into something else. I.e. it doesn’t die.
I’m an atheist (i.e. don’t believe in a God or an afterlife etc.) so I don’t think there is one. I think that it’s important to do the best you can in this world by helping people be happy and giving something back. That’s how you live on after you die – people remember you were a nice bloke who cared.
I personally think that there is something eternal about living things. What it looks like, and where it goes, I think is largely beyond our ability to even imagine.
I don’t really, but I don’t think it is so important. When people die, I think it is very important to remember them and think ‘what would they have done/said’ and that is how you keep the memory of people alive.
