      No. Unless you include humans as animals… sometimes I want to hurt my colleague haha, just kidding!

      I haven’t personally yet, but other people in my lab take about a teaspoon of blood of different bats that they capture in Ghana. We try to let them all go back into the wild as soon as we are done with them, so they don’t suffer any more than a jab to the wing. However, occasionally one gets hurt in the capture net, and we have to euthanize him.
