Mostly, yes! But of course not always and everything – sometimes a bad teacher could spoil an interesting subject (geography …) and towards the last years in school I really wanted to get out and I was very glad that it was finally over after 12 years. But I had a good time there, lots of frinds and good fun.
I loved a lot of my classes. But on the days when I had an organic chemistry test, a biology test, and a 3000-word journalism article due the same, I didn’t like it so much!! I enjoy school right now because it’s whatever I want to make it–I get to design my own studies, plan my own work, even create my own independent study classes.
Plus, so much of school is outside the classroom. I loved studying abroad in Kenya and southern Africa, and right now I LOVE being in Cambridge. I’ve met some of the most brilliant people, been challenged in the most invigorating ways, gotten to participating in the most fascinating events at school–all experiences that make me love school.
I did, I had lots of good friends who I still try to catch up with. I loved music (not sports which is funny as I love doing sporty things now). Of course, there were not so good times too; I think that’s pretty normal though.
I’ve been back to my old school which is quite strange; particularly being invited into the Staff room!
